Context & problem

Applications at PT. Spasi Indonesia needed a consistent way to call internal backend services. The gateway sits between those consumers and the services, so clients do not have to know how each backend is organized.

Outcome

Clients reach backend services through one API entry point with shared access checks.

Engineering decisions

Requests pass through a Fastify-based gateway for token and access checks, request validation, and routing to internal services. API requests, responses, and version changes are documented for consuming teams.

My contribution
